A Turkish cotton towel is the opposite of the bulky terry towel most Australian bathrooms are used to. It is flat-woven, lightweight and absorbent, it dries in a fraction of the time, and it folds down small enough to live in a beach bag or a suitcase without taking the whole thing over.
