Refund policy

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits, excludes or modifies those rights. Everything below is offered in addition to them.

Change of mind - unopened items

Within 30 days of delivery, if the item is unused and in its original unopened packaging, we will refund the purchase price. Return shipping is at your cost and will be deducted from your refund.

Change of mind - opened but not installed

Within 30 days of delivery, we accept returns of opened but uninstalled items subject to a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping, as the product can no longer be sold as new.

Change of mind - installed items

For hygiene reasons we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on bidet seats that have been installed. This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty — see below.

Faulty products

If a product is faulty we will repair, replace or refund it in line with your Australian Consumer Law rights. This applies whether or not the product has been installed, and is not limited to any fixed period - your rights last for the time a reasonable consumer would expect the product to last.

In addition, for the first 30 days after delivery we will replace a faulty product outright at no cost to you, including return shipping, without requiring an assessment first.

Damaged in transit

Please contact us as soon as you notice transit damage - ideally within 7 days of delivery - with photos of the packaging and the product. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you. Contacting us later does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

How to start a return

Email info@bidetto.com.au or call 0491 086 484 (Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm Melbourne time) with your order number and a short description. We respond within 1 business day with a return authorisation number and return instructions.

Please contact us before sending anything back, so we can make sure your return is tracked and processed correctly.

Refund timing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we process refunds within 3 business days to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take a further 3–5 business days to show the funds.

Warranty

Separate from returns, all Bidetto products carry a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. See our Warranty page at bidetto.com.au/pages/warranty for full details.
